Seems like lots of you have forgotten about this rule, so let this be a reminder. Yes, VIP allows you to disguise yourself as whatever you want, but you cannot disguise yourselves as during WoE times, ever. Again, this rule is to be enforced during WoE. The restrictions are:

  • No first/baby/novice job sprites. You cannot disguise what class you are.

Please share these rules with the rest of the Loki population in order to help make WoE a better place for everyone to enjoy. From this point on, anyone that violates this rule will be punished without warning.

  • Mechanic only: No disguising whatsoever during WoE. This is mainly because the ability to hide whether or not you're in a madogear is extremely powerful, and an unfair gimmick to abuse.

If only we had Madogear >.<

That's my fault. She copied it from my original post. I deleted that portion of it, though!

It gives you a smaller hit box than usual though which would be the only reason i'd see it punishable.

Technically speaking, any class modifier, including 3rd jobs get canceled the moment you enter a WoE castle.

You can bypass this disable by re-equipping the modifier donation item, and that is what people have been doing.

I know we've all paid for our items to get this modifier but there was a point with minor modifiers were accepted (3rd job and baby) but people abused it, just like any other thing RRO gets, such as using novice potions, especially novice potions to conceal their true class identity (was mostly seen on paladins) so rules had to be made, cause that can get rather frustrating and give the modifier an upper hand.

TLDR: We used to be able to, people abused it to an extent. Measures had to be made and now anything that modifies your true class is not permitted in woe castles.

3rd jobs also get disabled in woe castles, just like baby classes. You should try it sometime and maybe read before jumping to dumb conclusions.

Baby classes are mostly talked about because in some cases the baby classes at quick glance don't look like that they actually are. Sure if you've been playing for quite sometime you can quickly decipher their disguise but to someone who's fairly new to RO and attempt to WoE will not really know that what they're hitting isn't actually this really cute pink fluff of a Crusader but rather a big pink hunky Paladin stud. Same goes for 3rd classes, these do also fall under the same exact category because it does also modify your original class look, why they are also disabled in WoE castles.

what if my WoE class IS A SUPER BABY? would that count as an abuse too?

That's a dumb question, why must you be a smartass?

First of all Super Babies are far from viable in WoE and in you're TRULY determined to for some odd reason to play a Super baby in WoE and SOMEONE out of the blue decides to report you for it (since GM's can't always micromanage WoE to see who's changing looks or not) the GM themselvs can look into the characters name and see that this exact player that has been reported is indeed a cazy sonofabirch Super Baby.

You should feel really freaking special that I actually took the time to explain that to you.

The baby sprite is automatically dispelled once you enter WoE castle, so that's fine.

You know the answer yourself.

so babies are not ok but third jobs are?

Babies disguises get undisguised automatically, but not third job disguises.

Ideally, all disguises should be auto-disabled. This will be discussed among the staff.

The reason I wrote this post is due to a handful of reports I received regarding people using first job disguises in WoE.

It has been against the rules from the start, but let this be an official reminder that if ever someone gets punished for doing this, he/she has to accept it.

Awww </3 I bought the Magic Third because it will make my pally look prettier. Crusader peco is just sucks. There is no reason to disable Third Job sprite. Third Job sprite make you bigger and easier to aim. Its bring negative effect compare to Baby Magic or First class sprite. Let us, Third Job sprite user, enjoy the negative effect. We prefer to look pretty / cool rather than getting OP in woe.
