Depends on the type of LK.
Also, being on the "top" needs lots of factors to begin with.

SORRY if my life doesn't revolve around PvP and other in-depth technical stuff about the game.
Sucks to have a RL. ;)

really? i cant feel that im number 1 cause i killed kill em all already. with higher pings than him. LOL harold is good cause of his ping. LOLOLOL he already told me. thats why his pro cause he got lower pings

Learn how to counter any class. If you wanna be good on LK, play it as your main in PvP, even if you die, keep on playing it, and you will see the improvement in your skills. Ping matters, but even if you have the best ping, if you got no skills, you will still suck. :facepalm:

VVVHGS/Katana (well carded)
BG Spear/Pike (well carded)
Kiel (not very necessary)
Good internet
Knows how to do the right status distribution
Gets a good timing to counter and a well-chained combo (In other words, the "skill")
Good reductions
Good regeneration

Combo:
Bowling Bash or Brandish Spear or Magnum Break or Spear Stab + Spiral Pierce or Head Crush or Spear Boomerang
Parrying + Any attack
Charge Attack (until pushed to wall) + Spam Brandish Spear or Bowling Bash

in pvp Ping matters.

even if both players are skilled but the other one has better connection. (lower ping than the other) lower ping has a higher chance of winning
if its a bb game in pvp, player has a lower ping casts bb faster than a player with higher ping. (that's why i don't pvp much. my average ping is 200-350) =/

in woe, ping sometimes doesn't really matter anyway.. IMO. :huh:

@paolo: atm, no proper quips for LK. too lazy to farm. i'm just playin w/ my current skills & equips.

edit: i always do the combo, and my status always MATCHES w/ my equips & playing style.
