I wonder how some Snipers do 20k-20k dmg, 50k-50k dmg with Double Strafing..
They also do 20k crit attack (normal attack).

Do I need +10 GB to get 50k DS? or +10 Compo bow?
And also, what's the right card to put in?
TG, Incan, Thana? What?

And also regarding armor,
+10 Gator or Sniping Suit? what card?

Headgear:
What do you guys prefer? Premium or non.
Amistr's Hat, Red Berret, Orc Champion Helm? I also wanna know why some snipers like to wear orc hero helm? it only gives +25stats and lvl 10 discount.

Accessories:
Ruby Ring or Zircon Rings? What's better?

Also, if I want to get my damage higher, what accessory should I get?
Is "the sign" okay? Bow thimbles? premiums?

Sorry for alot of questions guys.
Just really need your opinions/advice.

I'm new here and I don't know much of the things here.
Thanks. :)

Well, I'm a non donate sniper, I do about 12-19k dmg on both DS and regular attack, It depends on what the other person(s) is/are wearing.
For DS, I just use a +7 Goblin Bow w/ Hydra Card and Incant Card, but if you have TG, you can put TG/ Incant. You can put thana if you want/have it.
I use a +9 Gator, I suggest getting Gator cause its way better than a sniping suit, unless you have a good card to put on it.
For headgears, when I use DS, I use my amistr hat. For Regular attack, I use my +9 alligator hat.
For accessories, I use Recondite rings w/ either Zerom cards or mantis cards, but for the ones you provided, use Zircon if you need more hit, and Ruby Ring if you want more crit rate and more dmg. :tardface2:

Hope you enjoy your time in Rebirth RO. :No1:

So, how come you do 12-19k dmg? Are you using some cards?

Does Thana work in Regin?

I saw a sniper dealing 50k-50k ds to his enemy. without any headgears. how come?
Thanks, really enjoy here. :D

Hoping for more suggestions. :D

I already listed the cards I use in my eq. :c Um, Im not sure if thana works in regin cause I don't have thana. The sniper probably had thana when he was dueling his enemy. :o

Some key equips to solid double strafe damage are

Two recondite rings
Great Demon Shroud

The snipers you see wearing "Orc hero helm" is actually an Orc champion Helm. OCH looks like the orc helm but with three horns.

OCH is preferable because it has 3 slots to put cards in, although Amistr does relatively the same damage.

I myself only use +5 OCH and +6 Goblin Bow, and I'm sure most people can agree that I do pretty nicely in both donor and non-donor PvP (I don't use any donation gears.)

I have one weapon for normal, consistent damage - Goblin bow with incantation samurai and turtle general(TG is swappable for hydra card if you wish)
Another weapon solely for inflicting statuses - Composite Bow [4] with Lord of Death cards, metaling cards, etc.
And another weapon for Thanatos damage, for anybody who's thana-bait.

So those 3 horns i keep seeing is the orc champion helm? that adds +300 atk?

What do you put in those 2 recon rings?

And, what do you mean by thana-bait? :)

Sorry don't know that. :D

there is but it's just for izlude pvp/regin/quests and stuff where donates arn't allowed

for max dmg you'll need donates. get red beret, wings and a lower. Use a great old hauberk and a GDS for more atk. You can use that orc card for your shoes but it isn't worth it imo more hp = better. Use 2x recon ring with pokey cards for max dmg. and 50k DS was either lex'd and a weakly geared enemy or thana on a vit whore.

OCH was nerfed, it no longer gives 300 attack. It now gives 100 attack.

In the recon rings, pokey cards would be good, unless you want to put a zerom in to reach a multiple of 10 total dex.

The more vitality a target has, the more damage thanatos will do. By thana-bait, I mean anybody who has sufficient vitality for thanatos to do immense damage.

Question:

If I spam DS during PVP 1 on 1 or during BG/WOE using my Goblin Bow with TG+VR, would it automatically cast in dispel too on the opponent same as doing a normal atk?

No, I believe it only activates from normal attack

Autocast works with skills. Even on official servers skills are used to inflict status effects (e.g. Snipers using Sharp Shooting or Knights using Brandish Spear in WoE to quickly spread status effects). You'd be better off using auto-attack though if you're intending to dispel a target because of its low activation rate.

Because autocasting a skill (bAutoSpell) and chance to inflict a status (bAddEff) are the same thing.

Autocasts only work with ctrl+click, only if you're hitting and you're in the range where the the skill is originally used - ie no bowling bash from 7 cells away.

Derp. My bad. I thought autocasts all have the same triggers. Does this mean autocast skills don't work with reflect/return?

Reflect/return's classified as a normal attack (like ctrl+click) funnily enough, so they do work.
