you refine all to the same number
first all to 5+
then all to 6+
then 7+
then 8+
then 9+
and those who are left you try to take themn to 10+
if you try to take them directly from 0+-10+
you break alot more
Everything in Loki is soo expensive, what is the price... 45m for 1 cred?

I have been told Luk+dex is the key to refining..
Luk + Dex is key to CREATING weapons, forging, etc. doesnt do crap to refining
i have been told all you need is 120 job lvl.. ya okay bullshit.. in order to make +9 or 10 valk..
that'd be right, for weapons anyway. refining weapons is ONLY based off of your job level. making a +9 or 10 valk equipment is just luck with the NPC, thats it, seeing as you cant upgrade armor yourself (thank god).
what is that secret? or how do i refine weapons.. basically my question is; Should i make a legit 255 whitesmith for refining or buy a max stats one.? Both will use nothing but enriched products..
you don't even need a 255 whitesmith, just one with a max job level (which usually happens to me at around level 180). and last i checked, you cant upgrade with enriched oridecon, only that NPC in payon can. as for the enriched elu... well thats just luck, doesnt matter what job you are.

And this is based on what mathematical formula? If you intend on taking refining all the way up to +10, it doesn't matter whether you do it directly or step-by-step. You just feel like you're breaking a lot more.

It's actually what I do, but the part about breaking a lot more is obviously bull. I think it's good if you want to get it to high refines without breaking everything, but if you're determined to make it +10, sometimes a do-or-die approach might conversely save you some materials from high-refine breakages.

Ahaha im sorry but you do not break it more, probably the same chance, jsut then, if you refine it 1 by 1, there is a relatively high chance you will be stuck with a lowly upgraded 1.

I do it in this same way + I always leave one with higher upgrade for save [to do not finish with everything broken]

ALSO. It helps to use the blackjack +1 -1 probability scale and use crap to break looking for best possible odds. I find if I get 3 breaks in a row at the same refine level the next one has much better probability of making it.
+10 is always a crap shoot though.
